Liability Waiver

Here at The Jewels Academy we aim to run classes where everyone has fun, learns new skills, and feels safe and supported. We do our best to ensure every student is kept safe by teaching them correct form, supporting them as they learn, and giving them all the information they need to make informed decisions. Due to the fact that we do teach activities that are physical in nature, our insurance behoves us to have a waiver in place that warns of every possible worst case scenario, as with every other facility or organisation that teaches physical activities. These waivers can seem alarming we know, so please, if you have any queries or want to know more about our sterling safety record, please just drop us an email and we'll be happy to talk this through with you. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the activities and programmes of The Jewels Academy and to use the facilities and equipment owned and/or under the control of The Jewels Academy, in addition to the payment of any fee or charge, I do hereby waive, release and forever discharge The Jewels Academy from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries or damages resulting from my/my childs participation in any activities or use of equipment or facilities in the above mentioned activities. I understand and I am aware that strength, flexibility and aerobic exercise, including the use of equipment, are potentially hazardous activities. I also understand that exercise and fitness activities involve a risk of injury, and that I/my child is voluntarily participating in these activities and using equipment and facilities with the knowledge of the dangers involved. I hereby agree to expressly assume and accept all and any risks of injury. I am aware that I or my child has the right to request advice from any of The Jewels Academy staff, at any time in relation to the activities and exercise being undertaken and, but not exclusively, their suitability for me/my child, with particular regard to my/my childs health. If I/my child chooses not to take advice, or to disregard any advice so given, I do so voluntarily and accept liability for all resulting injuries or damage. I do hereby declare myself or my child to be physically sound and suffering from no condition, impairment, disease or infirmity or other illness that would prevent participation or use of equipment or facilities. I acknowledge that I/my child have either had a physical examination and have been given my doctors permission to participate, or that I have decided to participate in activity and use of equipment and machinery without the approval of my doctor and do hereby assume all responsibility for my/my childs participation and activities, and utilisation of equipment and machinery in my activities. In addition The Jewels Academy cannot accept responsibility for valuables left in our facility.

The Jewels Academy is a Covid Safe environment. We have all the correct procedures in place to keep The Jewels Academy studio space as clean as possible. It is your responsibility to let the Jewels academy know if you are feeling unwell or if you have tested positive for Covid19 and have been in the studio space within the last two weeks before testing positive.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your booking. If the lesson is not cancelled in this time frame full payment is required.

Privacy Policy

Photos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes. If you are not happy with photos being taken please mention this to your instructor at the start of the class.
