Lower body invert & active leg strengthening: This class aims to strengthen and mobilise your lower body, focusing on all the muscles we need to get those pesky inverts for pole and aerial, or to clean them up and maintain those skills if we don't want to lose them! We will use a variety of bodyweight exercises suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced you will feel the burn! These drills will also work on our active mobility for your legs and straddles which will help to strengthen your splits and help towards straight leg inverts when we are fighting against gravity upside down, as well as strengthening your lower back to help with your inverts. You will be sure to see the results when we are back in the studio! (Yoga mat, strap or dressing gown tie and yoga blocks would be helpful but not necessary - weights can be used to intensify some exercises if you would like to choose to do so.)
