Georgie Bache

Ever since the young age of 5 I have always danced. I started off doing Freestyle Disco dancing, it wasn't until I was 14 that I knew I wanted my passion to become my career and to do so I needed to be versatile.

I began my contemporary dance training as a member of the DanceXChange Centre for Advanced Training Scheme under the Artistic Direction of Rosie Kay. This is where I got to work with internationally acclaimed choreographers at theatres and festivals such as: Birmingham Patrick Centre, Crescent Theatre and Birmingham International Dance Festival. I also was an original member of the pilot project and founding year of RDC Youth in 2013 for 2 years.

My own choreography with this company was performed on Main Stage of Birmingham Pride 2014. Alongside my intensive weekend training schedule, throughout the week I also studied at Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA), which is where I found my love for Commercial dance. I got to perform at Free Radio Live LG Arena and NEC Skills Show. Gained a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance.

I successfully gained a place at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and continued my studies for 3 years, I got to perform multiple times at the biggest theatre in London ‘Bonnie Bird Theatre’ which is within my university itself. I graduated with a Honours Degree in July 2018. Since I have been back in Birmingham I have been teaching, working and performing.
